The first major assignment for this course will be an exam covering the major forms, genres, and authors of electronic literature, as presented in the first few weeks of the class. The purpose of this test is to ensure that we are all on the same page with regard to the basic terminology and history of the electronic literature field. Exam questions will most likely include multiple choice, matching, author identification, and, perhaps, a short essay question or two. The last day of class prior to the exam will include a review of the specific material the test will cover.
This test is conducted here in Canvas, using the “quiz” feature. While you complete this test (using the computers in the classroom), you will be on your honor not to consult outside sources or collude with others via messaging services.
